Friends of Norfolk Heritage Park Annual General Meeting

Happy New Year, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

I am just writing to remind you that our Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday 2nd February at 7.30pm. We are hoping to adopt the new constitution at this meeting, so I include a final copy for you to look at and make any comments. Any potential alterations should be sent to me by Friday 30th January.

Please could I remind you that membership fee of £3.00 is due (please complete blue form enclosed). Since the group was founded the membership fee has remained at £3.00. To keep costs at a minimum we do not send out regular newsletters but if you have access to the internet our website is constantly being updated with news and events, just visit: www.norfolk-park.com.

We will be having another fundraising social event for the Friends of Norfolk Heritage Park on Thursday 25th March at 7.00pm. I’m sure you’ll agree the last one was a great success. Information about the social will be sent out towards the end of February.

Over the next few we shall be running a photographic competition for images of the park, which will be used for our new Christmas cards and postcards. The closing date for entries will the 31st May 2004. Please send entries to Erica Fidment at Centre in the Park, Norfolk Heritage Park, Guildford Avenue, S2 2PL. Enclose a SAE if you would like your photographs to be returned.

Once again we are heavily involved in the organisation of Sheffield Fayre. This year it will take place over the August bank holiday weekend on the 29th and 30th August 2004. If you would like any further information about how you can get involved in Sheffield Fayre please let me know, as any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to seeing you very soon

Yours sincerely,

Marge Allen
