Isaw the young trees that have been cut down by vandals yesterday. Near the Jervis Lum entrance.
I was thinking they were likely to grow again with just a little bit of attention. Who will be sorting them out?
Yet more firsthand experience of how iffy it can be planting trees of that size signposted with great big stakes.
It's heartbreaking.

If only you could cement the vandals into the floor instead of replacing the trees, with a notice round their necks stating,
"If you vandalise the trees then YOU will have to replace them"
Harsh I think, but fair. |

I like the idea of popping the vandals in the ground, lol.
Reckon the trees could survive, tho. They can be coppiced, I presume. Doubt the same could be said of the vandals...
